They were just running a poll for the new MCX Halo Hero character last week!

I have very little trust in large toy manufacturers these days.

I realize they have budget restraints but ....most (with a few exceptions) aren't making *anything* i'm even remotely interested in.

Yeah, I just saw the confirmation, with the claim more MOTU would still be coming. Here's hoping maybe they'll just give them a dedicated line, like Pokemon. With the big push Mattel is making with MOTU in general, it's possible.

Oh well, I have enough fodder to make customs I might still want, got figures of the characters I really wanted, and can print anything else I want. In fact, it's time to switch back to focusing on my MC GI Joe line.

So there are rumblings of a new MOTU brick line from MC, with listings showing up of a Land Shark and Slime Pit.

Green Skeletor. The Hordak set will be Hordak vs Flying Fists He-Man and Terror Claws Skeletor.

Got my ArcheCore Ursus Vanguard in Sunday and he's pretty "LASER BLAST" sweet overall. As I'm strictly 18th-only for my humans I'm wanting to swap in a critter head to this guy but it's an awfully deep well the neckball is down in, which will limit my critter head options. That issue aside it's a fantastically-nice action figure with some seriously-impressive engineering for 2" scale. I'm looking forward to the TFing vehicles a lot more now.

being 1:18 human only couldn't you still have shrunken characters like ant man/inner space, and giant characters like hulk or the 50ft woman?

maybe your little armored man had to be shrunk to get transported safely to whatever planet he is fighting those sea monkeys :)

Picked up some Archecore Ursus Guard/Center Raiders a few weeks back and am seriously impressed. Easily my favorite new line of 2021 and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes. A lot of fun and worth buying if you’re curious about them.

Nice to finally see something apart from the same licenses released ad nauseum the past 20 years.

I just hope the expensive mechs/vehicles don’t scare off potential collectors and kill the line before it gets a chance. Did grab one to customize and they seem to take primer pretty well. Trying to decide what paint scheme to go with while I develop other things.

Been stockpiling MCX, Hexa Gear, and Armored Puppet kits in the meantime, now that I’ve fully shifted to 1:24 scale.

Quick Archecore heads-up:

If you’re planning to customize, be careful with spray paint/primer.

Applied a layer of ultra-flat Krylon and didn’t realize that the hands & torso are made of soft rubbery plastic that reacts with it. The armor itself doesn’t seem to have an issue.

Just brushed on a layer of acrylic, so hopefully it’ll seal it and solve the problem. The figures are still fantastic, though, and I highly recommend them.

I don't want the Slime Pit set but I'm definitely going to get the Land Shark and Monstroid sets, just for the figures. I have to say, though, the brick builds have really grown on me.

5 years later and still no Sy-Klone , Clamp Champ , Ninjor , Webstor, Spikor (?) or Buzz Off.

The Mega Construx line used to be (still may be) the best all around line at retail but the distribution and selection is off putting. I've been one of the lines biggest supporters since Call of Duty figures first appeared but now.... I actually have a neutral /negative feeling when I think about the line.

The figure style is fine. It's Mega /Mattel that has caused this feeling. I've been acquiring only the occasional official fodder figure or KO for some time now.
