I donated! Only had the money to get one figure, so I snagged Marian. I'll probably get Keanna later down the line for customs, and a whole bunch of others. So much potential.

I nabbed an old Fisher-Price Adventure People Newsvan set off ebay for $23 and plan to use it with Ethan and Keana as cameraman and reporter. I'm thinking a field news team is a vital set of civilians to have in a Super/Joe universe.

anyone heard a definitive date for a backer kit type thing yet? KS update had said October, then I think I saw one pushing it to this month. Making sure I've not missed anything.

Nope. Last email said they were finalizing it, but that was a couple of weeks ago.

They are updating some of the digital renderings with prototypes and will then launch the Backport system. They said this set of heads (now with painted mockups) will NOT be available later.

I wonder if that means 'as a set' or 'at all'. I can't imagine them burning money for the molds without ever reusing them in any manner at all.

My take-away from their announcement is that while the heads may be used further down the road, this KS was the only way to get the '10 Head Bundle'

Yup, sent mine in. I only ordered 8 figures in total, 7 human ladies, and Banner, hehe.

BackPort is currently only a go for backers numbered 150 and lower (who should've received the email).

Since I'm number 181 I'm assuming I'll be in the next wave.

Edit:

Yay!
Got the email earlier that backers under #400 are set to go! Now I just have to decide if I want to add any extras... :shifty:

Does anyone have when their cards were actually charged?
I remember I had problem with the charge being denied multiple times, but I am starting to think it never got resolved.

I did mine tonight, and payment went through immediate (through PayPal)

$30 a fig is pretty steep, so I only added one the dual pack for customs.

Ok. Need to amend that.
I got a PP receipt, but it has not hit
My bank account yet.
So we’ll see how long it takes.
