That's right, the ever popular LBCC is back! You have 48 hours and change to mix and match your part swapped figures. No paint. No modifications other than to make heads fit the body. No limit on the number of submissions. All entries need to be posted in this thread by 8:00AM Eastern, Sunday the 26th.

Good luck and just be glad you aren't going up against this awesome example of originality and ingenuity that no one has ever thought of! :-D

:-| What'S that? Everybody's done a female Snake Eyes? What about on the new MTF Valk- They have? With the visor and the Timber? Yeah. I see. :-/ Ok, I guess everyone should just do something better then. :cry:

Oh, and the poll winner takes home some prizes.
* AVACS Lab assortment, a Mail Away Doc MIB (courtesy of zombiesushi), and a ziplock bag of parts to help flesh out your LBC idea.

Hello everybody,

I am new to this site, new to customizing for that matter, so dont mind me asking... but what is the deal with this contest? Just put the head of one figure onto the body of another one, and thats it?

And can foreign people join the contest as well?

All the best,
Rob

lbc = lazy boy custom

the goal is to make a new or existing character by just parts swapping. no paint or grinding/sculpting except to fit a head.

really fun and easy, but still magic can happen :) I have seen some genius lbc's!!

To further add to 2DARK2C's answers, it can be a new head or any other kind of part swapping from any number of figures. You can't paint it. You can't cut it or drill it (other than to make the head fit the body if you have to). No sanding. The parts as they are right out of the box.

Any member of the forum can participate. We actually have a lot of foreign members from around the globe. A lot of them have participated (and won) over the years.

As further examples, here are the entries and the ultimate winner from last year.

Since the JCA's aren't a contest and one person's "lazy" isn't what another person considers lazy there is usually a touch of paint or minimal effort involved. But so you get a another hint of what we're going for, here are the LBC entries from the final JoeCustoms Awards ballot this year.

Are there any restrictions regarding the percentage of Joe parts vs HACKS vs MTF parts?
