  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

Just a quick LBC of a needed character for my Masters customs. Orko is just a repainted 80s eraser. Just a place holder until I get around to making an articulated one.

I had that exact eraser as a kid and used it as my Orko, even after I got the actual Orko figure. Nice to see its potential tapped with a fresh paint job.

Next up is Mer-Man! I've wanted to make this one for awhile but the parts just didn't come together. Head is a four horseman shrink from the now defunct Angry Nomad Customs along with the trunks. Armor is from the original figure and two skeleton pieces and some putty make up the cod piece. Hope you enjoy.

Dang, that looks sweet. Mer-Man was the next on my MOTU list. Too bad Angry Nomad went out of business - I didn't get a chance to snag all the MOTU heads that I needed from him :-(

Good to know that the original armor works on smaller figs -- what did you use as the base figure?

Someone asks the question earlier if the Land Shark's mouth moved. Yes it does and here is poor Old Duncan doing his best Quint impersonation.

Decided to go a different route when making Cosmic Enforcer Zodac. Wasn't really getting a cosmic/spaceman vibe from the original figure. Hope you like it. More to come.

Thanks 2DARK2C a group will probably come once I 've completed a Castle Greyskull. Haven't decided if I'm going to make my own or try a 3-D printed one.
