I'll be making a Kangor in ARAH format. My hatred of head-to-toe repaints keeps me from just repainting a Big Boa.

Instead, I'll be mixing in Gnawgahyde arms and Sgt. Slaughter waist/legs. Probably removing the harness spikes, too.

Even with these changes, I still see Big Boa. Do I need to go to an shirtless chest/back? Maybe one that has a muscle top?

Or, am I just too hung up on the fact that Kangor is a Big Boa repaint, and call it good like the design as is? Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I would paint the section between the upper straps and the section between the lower straps, leaving the sides baiire skin. Give him sort if an American Gladiators look.

Everything in that belly button section and then the inverted triangle section where the neck and middle chest area is.

Could always go with black pants with blue and red boots

I played with the unpainted sides, and it looked too weird for my tastes. But painting the whole chest/back as a super-tight t-shirt works well. I'll paint it black instead of the pants because the source figure on the legs had black paint. I blended both of your suggestions and found the solution.

I also made the skin tone darker. These should be enough changes to make Kangor distinct from Big Boa.

You guys are great! Thanks!
