In my other post, I talked about how I began experimenting with washes and it's been hit-or-miss. Some of the ones below I consider more on the "miss" side, but I'm still ok with how they turned out. Long Range in particular has a much heavier wash than I intended. I'll probably end up going back and painting over at least part of him. Cover Girl is obviously pretty similar to the Club version, but I like the Rise of Cobra head better, and gave her a more detailed paint job. Also really like how the Brazil Leathereck turned out. I rebuilt him to be big, but not huge like Roadblock. It was my first time switching out knees, and in the picture I notice how they look positioned too high. Weird how it's not that noticeable on the actual figure.

I'm not sure why, but that Armadillo is really calling out to me -

beautiful work on all these!

just a thought on that leatherneck ... is it possible you put them together upside down?

I just double-checked, and that’s how they’re positioned on all the other figures those knees come on. I think it’s somewhat of an optical illusion, and those gaiter things on his lower legs are making them look longer than they actually are because you can’t see the boots.

These are amazing. You took the colors and slid the ridiculous ones until they were plausible.
