Well that may have… complicated matters

Also here’s the updated version with Rusty. We gave the helmed horror a dragon slayer sword (also pictured) which he used to hit exactly zero times in our last dragon encounter.

We ended up finding the dragon sleeping and combined the placement of an immovable rod with expanding a magical fortress we beat the hell out of it before combat even started. Good times.

Found a guy on eBay that sells wired capes. So I e now added a ret-conned looking version of Qamar’s cloak of billowing.

Nothing of substance but the devil is in the details. I found a seller on eBay who makes custom wired capes. Got one for my D&D wizard and also grabbed some to try for my Batman. Those who’ve known me on here for awhile know that I’ve spent more time trying to get Batman right than I have on any other custom not based on myself.

Anyhoo, the batcapes work great and so I updated my main grey suit and an alternate black suit with the new ones. Problem was (and actually had been with the prior cape too) that the cowl I used to bridge between softgoods and the head kept riding up and looking weird. So I pulled an old neck piece from a dark knight figure and boiled and cut until it fit.

The results are… way better than expected

Made the same cowl swap for my blue bats, but no upgraded cape yet

The next couple are just test shots. Got my mats and backdrops back out, intending some in depth scenes. But I haven’t made it past staging yet. My youngest is in quarantine this week from a school exposure, and has been playing with this set up. I’ll have other weeks for photos
