So, I held off posting over the weekend ... Saturday's entry was too weak to stand by itself, and I was busy all day yesterday.

First up today, LBC Marine.
Not much to say about this, except -- do marines wear berets? red berets?
This qualifies for my project, as these parts have been in a WIP baggie for about four years.... lame, I know ...





Second up today, Professor X
Like a lot of you, when I saw the Jake Sully wheelchair, I knew I had to make a Prof X custom
One note on this: the Gordon figure plastic is so crappy, i actually broke one of the legs off just moving it into a sitting position. I also cut off the hammer hands, drilled out the sleeves & added random 25th Joe hands

Finally today: Bobbi Morse, AKA Mockingbird

I shouldn't even post this, after Chief just posted his amazing version.... But in the spirit of the WBM, I wrapped her up, as far as I am. I'd still like to fashion a mask for her, possibly just out of a card bubble, and I even have an idea for a removable mask using greenstuff (maybe for a 2.0 version) I also need to get a styrene rod to make her battle staves, with a removable version of them to put on her right thigh (that's why the strap is left there). I've been wanting to make a Mockingbird ever since NJC #2 (Hawkeye) ... figured it was high time!




Entire figure is 25th Scarlett except for lower arms, which are Walrus Man's

Mock is awesome - love how you did the sleeves. Sweet-ass paint job, too.

Prof X is cool, but the jacket looks too bulky on the smaller DCIH body.

Marines don't wear berets. Especially Raspberry ones...

yeah, that Prof coat is too bulky ... it didn't seem as bad when Charlie was standing .. of course, he can't stand anymore .. i had to glue the leg in the sitting position ..

good thing that marine has to guard the lower level of the Flagg -- he would get such a pinch from his comrades ...

I like most everything here. Agree about the coat being bulky, but I don't mind it. I do mind that I have the exact same head for my Prof X unfinished WIP though. If that tells you anything about how much further behind you I am in my own WIP finishing
