I got a few of the MOTUC Palace Guard sets with the intention of having 4 of the heads on display and making a few customs. These are the first two customs I've completed.

The first is an Avian Guard. This guy is Stratos' personal guard when he's at the Royal Palace.

This next Guard is a guy I've named Argos. He is a veteran of many battles and has served Randor since the Keldor uprising.

I really like the Faker figure we got but felt it didn't really work in my universe as he was presented to us. So I came up with something that I really like. I put the TRU Skeletor armor on Faker and gave him the blue Power Sword, Shield and Axe. Faker is the magical robot version created by Tri-Klops and Evil-lyn to counter He-Man on the battlefield. However the robot was flawed and quickly defeated. Skeletor, using a strand of He-Man's hair, created a completely mystical clone named Fak-Or. This clone is physically identical to He-Man and retains some of He-Man's memories as well as Skeletor's personality traits embued upon him by the creation spell. As such, Fak-Or is prone to experiencing moral crises and Skeletor often has to cast a spell to bring Fak-Or back under his control. When engaged in one-on-one combat He-Man and Fak-Or battle to a draw and Fak-Or is only defeated due to He-Man's morality surfacing or when other Masters intervene. Skeletor has taken to keeping Fak-Or in reserve until he can completely eliminate the moral personality flaws in Fak-Or. Should Skeletor succeed in turning Fak-Or completely evil the Masters of the Universe will have a truly dangerous foe to face.

Fak-Or is a Battle Armor He-Man head on Tri-Klops body with Faker's orange armor and weapons. I painted the rivets on the armor, belt and wristbands black and painted a clear red over the gem in the center of the of the crossbones on the armor and center jewel of the belt.

Argos is a Count Marzo head with the Guard helmet and body and the Avian guard is Stratos head, wings and jetpack on a Guard body.

That Avian Guard reminds me of Hank Williams Jr.

Not into MOTU, but I like what you've done to these.

Wow, that Argos looks mean! I like him, but his hands are a bit too small....

That's why he's mean.

I like the guards. It makes sense to have them be more diverse. I love how you individualized the armor for them.

Fak-Or(ange) is cool. I would have bought into that concept.

I can't believe how awesome that Marzo head turned out.

Also, I do have one critique. Since Stratos, and I think most of his race are shoeless, I would thing he would have bare feet. However, he's still really rad.

Good idea on the Avian Guard. Almost has a Flah Gordon/hawk man vibe to him.

I'm no expert on MOTU customs, but the quality on all of these seems high and consistent.
