I can dig it. I think I'll get to Damien eventually, but this is Tim for me also

Robin is done now, I think. Pretty happy with the updates, especially since I started out intending to update the cape only. lol

I'm not well versed in the comics realm, but that is a pretty sweet Robin.

I like that robin, he has progressed into a better figure than what he was

That works REALLY well!

Are those gauntlets modified from the multiverse figure?

Thanks Spin - the earlier attempt at updating him, I just swapped the forearms from the Multiverse figure on the MU arms. It fit, but was a bit wonky. However, when I changed out the elbows, I couldn't get those forearms to work a second time.

So I modded up my own. Commander Gree gauntlets and hands. Straps chopped off of X-23 boots, and the little devices chopped off of the Multiverse figure and attached. Good eye!

Still going strong on this bat-verse kick, thanks to the NJC which ends tomorrow.

One custom I am not submitting, because it's just too much of a bit of thievery from Spin Doctor's great custom is Scarecrow:

Also, based on advice from Spin, I tried a Doctor Who coat on Gordon in place of the crazier one I had before. If I keep it, it'll needed to be paint matched. But what do you think? It's kind of a tight fit... ok?

Your Scarecrow looks great. Like the little touches you added to the formula.

And I love that new trench on Gordon. Much more realistic once you paint match it.

thanks Gents.

Spin, I scrolled through your massive DC thread this weekend, and I have to keep reminding myself just how many of your ideas I've been stealing. lol

Loving that Gordon, the parts selections are perfection. Id love to see the coat match the arms closer but that could be a by product of the flash. Either way, awesome. Now, the Scarecrow, it totally makes me want to fire up Arkham Asylum again.

Thanks man. Yeah, I haven't color-matched Gordon's coat yet. I was posting for feedback to see if it was enough of an upgrade over the prior coat to make it worth the effort.

I think the fit looked better on the old coat, the Who coats are absurdly tiny and over the bulky vest it looks a bit like it shrunk in the wash. I'd heat the collar on the old one, fold it and glue it down so it isn't popped and I think it would look better. One of the Infinite Heroes coats may be a better fit than either on that body though.

My turn to share my entries in this past NJC. Really had a lot of fun this time, and would probably have kept going with even more, had there been more time.

My Harley
Image
The bomb is from a Chap Mei Police set

With my Joker. One of my favorite pics
Image

Enough so that I played around with some comic style things involving it
Image
Image
Image

But, true to form I was already making changes to customs before the entries had even closed.

Small change to Harley - I didn't like the way the paint rubbed off the handle I made for her hammer, so I gave it a wrap. kilcarr helped me come up with the idea of it, and I went with yellow. I'll hint only that she used one of her trophies to wrap the handle.

Image

Here is Joker as submitted

But then I changed him up a bit too. Gave him skinnier black dress pants. I'm not 100% sold on the belt, but I view it more as a waistcoat anyway. Also gave him tails instead of the half-assed first attempt:

Image

And I know I'm overdoing the comic effect shots, but I ran this one through a painting filter, and I love the way it turned out
Image

Something about the sculpt of that head...
Image
Just really comes alive in the effects shots.

Anyway, moving on:
Alfred
Image
Image
Basically the new Joker figure with articulated black arms and a Henry Jones head
Image

My son was excited because he had direct design input on two figures, and one got a couple votes. The second Harley I made, classic style, was done for his collection
Image

As was Armored Batman
Image
(couldn't find my good pics of him, lol)

Classic Batman was just an excuse to add variety to Batman's hall of armor
Image

Oh, and I also fixed Stephanie's eyes a bit since the submission (still needs work)
Image

Did I miss anyone?
