Braided strings it is. They were made by my wife. I like it because it is fully posseable. I just dremeled a portion at the sides of the head, glued the braids and touched up with green stuff. I just need a good sword and spear for her.

I will post more pictures later tonite.

I found the strings at the bijouterie store (imitation jewelry).

Thank you DrSyn.

Finally I added Face, Hannibal and Murdok.
Hannibal and Murdok are not that original in parts selection but I think I did it well with Face and Mr. T.
Something strange I found is that Hannibal got shorter than the rest.

I never was a fan of those Galoob A-Team heads.Their smiles were just too creepy. Although I do not like their heads, I do like the parts and paintjob they sit on...

I've gotta say, I'm not crazy about the Galoob heads either (Mr. T is all right), but you've done an incredible job with them! Did you repaint Murdoch's eyes to look forward? Face still looks like an imp, though. Why the "handsome" one is the most hideous sculpt, you knows?

Thank you very much for your kind comments. Yes cyko, I fixed the eyes on Murdock.

And just for X-mas let me present my latest custom ARES and one that was waiting a long time for being finished PSYCHO MANTIS.

Image
Ares is based on the god of war from facebook game Marvel Avenger Alliance.

Psycho Mantis is from the videogame Metal Gear Solid.

When I decided to make the Metal Gear Solid characters I wasn't sure if I was going to make Meryl. However when I saw the similitudes between the comic pack Lady Jaye head and Meryl, it was like an epiphany and the only problem in front of me was to find the right torso. The best torso out there is definetely the Natalie Poole one, but it is very hard to find and expensive (until a cool caster copy it). One day lurking on the web I came across this Sarah Chronicles customs and I find the solution for Meryl's torso.

The character have grown on me, so I think I would make a v2 in the future. Ok, no more words, here she is.....

All of your feedback is appreciated.

That Meryl custom is spot on, it really captures the essence of the character in ARAH format, that Lady Jaye head sculpt is simply perfect for it.

I made these two guys for the NCJ#76 but unfortunately I couldn't send the pictures on time.

BANE. Batman's enemy ala The Dark Knight Rises. In the movie this supervillain didn't have any superpowers so it was just a perfect call for this NJC. I made the broken Batman mask as accesorie.

LOBO from DC universe.
I've always like this supervillain from the Superman or Justice League universe. For this NJC, Lobo is a headhunter that had recently joined the Dreadnoks, where he thinks can find clues where to find the international terrorist he is looking for.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.
