Thanks!

The walls are .5" styro covered with plaster and the roof/shingles are 1mm thick cardboard that I cut into long strips of 1cm widths and made randomly spaced 5mm deep cuts along the strip.

It's plaster over 1" styro. I added a bit more water to the plaster so I can stipple and swirl it around to make ripples before it dries on me. Then I painted it with normal artist acrylics and coated with non-aerosol hair spray for the gloss.

The use of hair spray was an accident. I was making a diorama base/groundwork before this and I bought the hair spray to glue the flocking to the ground and noticed that the spill over was too glossy and that gave me an idea to try my hand on water effects. :)
