I wet blended black, green and brown paints but I guess the reflective surface or the light makes it appear darker than it is.

Daunting, yeah. It can be sometimes but just keep at it. Below is the first dio I made 2 years ago, haha!

Great set up. I like the tight focus on the figures. Add the tied bundles of sticks and the natural terrain and it blocks out that this is probably a backyard or a park. Really good setup and camera work on this one.

Thanks Pluv! The base is something I made from styro, plaster and a sprinkling of colored sawdust and dirt.
