This was a batch of straight up fodder box fun. I pulled these together with the mindset, "What characters would I bring to G.I.Joe 3 and how would they look?"

I have this rough storyline churning in my head that I may try and flesh out at a later time. The final arc will be a two-parter much like the last Harry Potter and Twilight: Breaking Wind. On to the characters...here's the first batch...

Liked.Dusty is a little weird as you wouldn't expect him to have a device like you gave him.Good choices for joe 3 but I want GH in the movie and to have Scarlett return

I agree with dusty, not feeling him as Dusty, but I love the push pop stand you made for him with the jet pack. Great thinking on that one.

I would totally geek out if that was what they went with for Snake Eyes.

More characters from the what if project...

First up is Interrogator: He has a history with both JOE and Cobra, but that history will only be revealed towards the end of the second part of the second film. He's the Urban Ops commander and resident "BA." He is supported by his guardsmen, the Headhunters, and the Alley-Vipers serve as his assault troops. I have yet to make the Alley-Viper, but a Headhunter can be seen with his boss below.


Next up is the Range-Viper, Mjr. Bludd's jungle forces. I wanted to give the feel of the original, but change his color variation to be more jungle themed.


Kamakura will make his first appearance in these movies. He'll be approximately 18, and the leader of a rag-tag group of military orphans, a.k.a. the Renegades, who have to grow up quickly after the Cobra invasion of South America.

Rapid-Fire: I've wanted to update the character for a while now but never got around to doing so. I've always liked the HOF 12'' figure design, so I decided to give him a modern update for my movie-verse. I think JM70 mentioned using sponges for digital camo on one of the previous podcasts (<-shameless plug), so I thought I'd give it a go.

Rapid-Fire serves as the Joe contact to the Renegades. Though injured, he helps them hone their skills and plot an escape from Cobra L.A. (Lower America).


Dusty: I updated my earlier custom, losing the flight-pack and giving him a more standardized backpack.

There are some awesome figures and ideas in this thread, but this idea is the coolest retcon I've heard for Cobra La. Love it.

I especially like your Dusty. I actually really liked him with the flight pack too.
He reminds me a lot of one of the pirate factions in Lost Planet 2, that I used as a base for my character.

Great idea to use the Retalition CC head for Interrogator. Inspired choice!
