one more for the PBS rocks set!

these four guys are as much my childhood as anything else. my stepdaughter suggested mr lavar burton and he was a perfect addition. these still need some detail work but i'm pretty happy with how they are coming together.

Excellent work!

Looks awesome.

A couple of small things. The back tires need to be bigger/wider, rather then stock tires.

the second item is one I have to push myself on all the time. Sanding, it could use some more. I hate sanding. LOL Also for the dimples if you smooth and fill the low areas with some "Bondo Glaze and filler putty", it is orange putty in a red tube and is in the auto department at Wal-Mart, it will smooth out with a lot less sanding. I also like using sanding sponges when I am doing contoured areas like those.

thanks DREMEL you are one of my favorite vehicle guys, so it truly means a lot!

i was torn about the sanding, i just took it down to steel wool. as new territory for me,sculpting such large areas, and on top of metal, this was a big learning experience. luckily my saving grace is the weathering that i will be doing. i will be doing the full red dirt treatment as seen in road warrior.

Thanks, a lot of the modelers really make me push myself. I just love when anyone makes vehicle customs. This inspired me to make a totally different custom. LOL I plan on making a 6 wheel mustang pickup. I am probably the only one that will know it was inspired by this build. LOL
