yeah, those floor pieces are awesome. and actual metal? You need to get some micro rare earth magnets - that fit in foot peg holes, as it will make place your figs in there fun, and allow for dynamic posing.

looking good! my only suggestion on detail is to hit thrift stores for electronics to take apart and cut up! I have seen some computer tower back panels that make great tech detail.i have had good results asking coworkers for specific items too, like just mentioning hey i'm looking for some old school star stickers :) and I got 'em :)

That's an excellent idea!

I do have some of that but I've been uncertain on how to use it. Any pointers?

I wish I did have some pointers, but you are further along than I :-D

I have just seen basic computer kibble used as excellent background as recently as:

keep at it :like:

I know it's been a long time coming, and for that I apologize. This project went on the back burner again shortly after my last post here.

Recently Kevin Watts/ Red Laser Medi BATS inspired me to finish this thing up. It really just needed some jm70 level tech detail to give it a finished feel. At this point I'm just waiting on some images for the brainwave scanner display. Any critiques are welcome, thanks for looking!

Wonderful! Lots of play value!
I like all the different floors. How do you imagine the bottom floor, where Cobra can exit/enter through the waterfall? Is it meant for divers only? Otherwise I'd might add a small jetty so a couple of Hydro Sleds or Night Landings can be displayed there.

Exactly! I should have taken a picture of the waterfall "up" so you could get a better feel for entrance. I tried using the base of a hydrosled as a dock, but maybe it's too small. I'd like to do a larger dock but I just don't think there is enough space for it.

Fun! Everything looks good to me. Do you make the lab modular or is there a before/after thing going on in the pics?

Not modular, but only the stuff against the walls is anchored in place to make it easier for me to get my fat hands in there to pose figures and take pictures.
