This is one that was on my to-do list for a really long time, but had no real concept of how I'd get there. The right random mix of parts, and I'm pretty happy with him.

The arms are a mish-mash and are not perfect. I might still upgrade them if the right parts come along later. For now though, I think it works.

This is basically a Doctor Who Ood figure I got cheap on ebay, modded (arms had swivel shoulders only), shortened, sculpted and painted, with a modded WWE Rumbler head (forget Dude's name).

I have one update pending, with his cane, and also an alternate head with a fedora (whether proper for the character or not, it should look pretty cool).

Thoughts? Did I go too far astray?

Best kingpin I think I have ever seen. Head works remarkably well!

The head looks great. I think he could stand to have a little more girth around the waist. Is it possible to add a little "stuffing" under the front of the coat? Not a lot mind you, just a little bit to better fit the profile of the character. I think you nailed the height of the figure though. Give him a paunchy little gut and I think he'd be perfect. Think Michael Clark Duncan.

thanks fellas!

MS - I kind of wanted to add a bit of girth also, so I hear you. But it's not happening with this base figure. The coat is on there so tight that I first thought it was part of the hard plastic sculpt. It's not, but there's no give to expand it without ripping it.

While the lack of a gut is a bummer you nailed the rest of his proportions in my opinion. He's big, wide and thick just as he should be. And the double-chin head really helps sell it.

I love it and like the smaller sized gut.
Can the head drop down more so he doesn't look like he's looking up?

Yes, it's not a great range of motion, but it can. the trade-off is that there is a visible gap at the back of the neck that way. I wasn't paying that much attention to his head when I posed him.

That's really cool. Been trying to figure out how to do Big Boss from COPS and might have to steal some ideas here.

hey thanks again guys.

The head really is the key to the custom. There are probably better suited figures from 5 and 6 inch lines than this one was, but the head is what allowed me to finally make him.

That really is the best custom of this guy I've seen. You say it's an "ood" body? Did the coat come with the body or is that from another source?
