I have been working on this on and off for several weeks, as hand tremors have allowed. I consider these as WIP pics, as I am making a few other accessories and such, that can be swapped out for different uses. The fire escape is removable, and I have a working, articulated ladder that has to be finished. I will be making some bins, more realistic barrels, and more pallets, as well as a few other items, and graffiti and signage for the walls. Please feel free to give opinions and recommendations.

glad to see you posting!

i think everything looks great! the fire escape might be a tad low to the ground, but it still works with the dio and looks good.

is this going to tie in with your zombie team?

Yes, I am making it to use for photos of my team and others. I am making some Walking Dead figures also. I have a couple other dios planned, but hoping we can get the hand tremors reduced. I will post more as I finish the add-ons. The fire-escape is better proportioned in height, and I will try to address that in future pics. Thanks for the comments!

I really like the way the fire escape hangs from the top so you can just remove it when you want.

Thanks! I don't have a lot of room to display dios, so I want to make them as versatile as possible, with removeable accessories.

Looking very good for a first dio. Might I suggest a little dirt where the walls meet the ground. Alley's are very dirty and those spots fill with debris and dirt most. Maybe even throwing just a little bit of course sand there would really make it pop.

Very cool, can't wait to see more. Fantastic idea in keeping it modular.

Does the door open?

I really like all the uses you cna get out of it. And that you can build add on sets like a loading dock or store front or bank or whatever right next to it and swap them out too.

Thanks. I have a couple ideas for stuff for the floor, that will also be swappable.

I thought about trying to make the door open, but since it was my first attempt, I wasn't quite ready to tackle that. I have evrything to make several more, and I plan on trying that, along with a few other things!
