OK so I tripped across a listing on Ebay for Clone Wars 3 pack speeder bikes. They were seconds from China so they were cheap. I saw the two seater one and just knew that I needed to make it into a trike chopper and of course the Dreadnoks get all trikes ever made. LOL

I decided to paint them in Dreadnok theme colors. Painted one in Thunder Machine colors and the other in Chameleon Swamp Skier colors.

I like the green one the best. What paints did you use on that ? I might have to try that someday.

I do not know which one I like better, I really like them both. probably the smallest project I have done in a while.

Sprayed them both solid black and then painted the details.
The teal is Testors acrylic gloss teal. The lime green is Apple Barrel lime sherbet. Apple Barrel paints are very thick and look very rough and chalky when applied but after you spray paint them with a clear coat it smooths them out and makes them look much better.

The decals are actually water slide decals that were intended to be 1:6 scale figure tattoos that were applied before adding clear coat.

Thanks I thought about doing more chrome and maybe when I do another one I will try chroming it out since I already did my two favorite Dreadnok color schemes.

I built these side by side at the same time. Here are a couple of WIP pics.

Dude, these are awesome... I want some now... Hasbro needs to be watching for these types of customs for ideas.

These are super fun. Nice job modifying speeder bikes into motorcycles... the modifications are great.

Creative and smart use of those speeder bikes!
The guns on the red/blue version are a bit too large for my taste, but on the other side that's pretty "Dreadnok-ish".
