The Big Jim camper blew me away. An awesome Joe rendition. I have an old Sky Command that I just don't know what to do with.
OB, up for sharing your AT yellow paint color and process?
Then Dusty comes along with that Zelda vamp. So incredible. I could make that work in my Joeverse.

Remember how I said the My Pet Monster made my top 5 of customs I never thought I'd see? Well guess what just shot to number 1? I've seen some good VAMP builds recently, but this is by far and away the most unexpected. It is more than that though. The fact it holds all of his accessories. The little gold accent designs. So perfect.

That Link parts build is super inspired. That VAMP is flawless.

I don't think I can say anything else. I think I just saw two of the best customs of 2016.

Thank you JM70. Coming from perhaps the king of the themed custom vehicle build, thinking back on your Misery Machine and the planet express, that means a lot.

thank you sir! That's good to know, in terms of deciding whether or not to buy that truck. Good to know up front it won't work out of the box, but that's a great mod to ensure playability.

No problem. I use Liquitex yellow (Cadmium yellow medium hue) spray. It is available at Michael's. For the canoe, I started with a coat of acrylic Krylon white primer (this is the most important step) and sprayed two coats of yellow. The process is spread over 3 days to let everything dry for 24 hours, but the actual painting time is probably 5 minutes at a time. If you include the time it took to apply the sticker and take pictures, the canoe took less than 20 minutes to make.

OB, I love the Big Jim Camper set. I had forgotten that when I was very young someone had given me that set. I don't think I would've ever remembered that if not for this set. Thanks for that. Also, awesome work!

Agreed. When we were tossing around ideas for the theme of the project, we had it down to 2-3 ideas. Dusty79 showed us this Zelda VAMP WIP. It was so cool that we settled on doing "crossovers".

Genius.

Loved Ocarina of Time- this is a more than worthy tribute.

And the VAMP- leftfield/ out the box/ lateral thinking at its best. Love all the weapons and especially the jars with what looks like mini corks in them.

Any plans for Zelda?

Thanks, no definite plans for Zelda in the immediate future, but perhaps someday.

Awesome Batman! I remember having those Batman movie toys as a kid. Too bad they didn't look like this.

Side note: Dark Knight Returns and The Killing Joke were in the 80s, not the 70s
