These figures are inspired. Just seeing so many customs based on those old concepts brings a tear of joy to my eye.

I didn't think I wanted an updated modern articulated line of GUTS figures, but apparently I was wrong. These are fantastic.

I used to have little green plastic toy soldiers but I'm not familiar with GUTS. But your modern G.I. Joe-esque rendition of those characters looks great! :) What's next, what's next? More! :)

Thanks guys. I enjoyed researching and making GUTS! figures so much, I kinda want to make more of them. Some are bit repetitive, but some of them are pretty funky.

Next: Dusty79 shows us his Fun x4s.

Oh my!

The toy line was comprised of characters that shared ‘’DNA’’ with GI Joe. Several characters re-used Joe names like Mainframe, Mace and Longarm. One character was actually Beachhead’s son and the figures themselves had similar construction to ARAH Joes.

THis one actually went the other way around for the most part. Kenner made COPS, and when Hasbro bought Kenner/Tonka, they incorporated the COPS idea into the DEF line and reused the COPS names of Bulletproof, Mace and Longarm, but there was the shared Mainframe prior, and Kenner paid homage to the joes by connecting Beachhead to the COPS team.

And with a color swap, DEF Mutt and Junkyard comes off as a great RAH rendition of Bowser and Blitz.

It was really cool to see as someone collecting both of these lines in the 80s and90s.

Your versions are great.

Stompers? Are you "LASER BLAST" me?!?

You guys are continually blowing me away with these - a ton of out-of-the-box thinking. Each day is a new surprise.

And the Sectaurs customs? I'm stealing the ever-loving $#!@ out of that idea.

I'm just sad that I won't be getting my clear blue HACKS BFS fig for a few more weeks, or I'd have a Crystar custom ready to go for the contest. But I'm sure you guys already have a full set of Crystar/Moltar figs ready to show off ;-)

Looking forward to see what kind of insane $#!@ you three pop out in the next few days.

Thank you icecreamman. That Stomper was done using colored electrical tape. A new technique for me.

I really thought this was gonna be one you put the penny in the back or the one with the military vehicles with rubber tires.

Nice to see that vehicle redone and I like the Clutch figure. The parts work well and could seriously look cool with other paints apps to.
