I don't know what to say other than .... Wow.

The details are incredible. All of your Dios have been impressive, but man, you've really stepped up your game on this one.

thanks guys

OB - Walls and Floors are foam insulation, as are those wood beams, and the wall of the stairs. I used a foam knife to cut the bricks, or planks as the case may be, then also to cut in some grain to the wood, some ax marks in the beams, etc...

Some of the stone work I actually used a cookie cutter to make the impression of the brick pieces, before I got the hot knife.

Everything after that is paint, but both parts are important. On the paint technique, I start by spray painting the foam black. Spray paint eats regular styrofoam, but there are a few brands that do great with foam insulation. Then I just paint varying shades thereafter, essentially the same way I'd weather a figure.

I don't know if that helps. You might have been asking something more specific that I missed.

Also another quick update, but still not done with all the details yet. Have added a persian rug (printed on inkjet cloth), and some other reclaimed furnishings.

I love the size of the foam project boards because they are easy to work with, but still impressively scaled compared to Joes.
