I haven't had much time for hobby stuff at work this year. I made this one a bit at a time.

I have 2 more going that are full tang, this one is a hidden tang with the steel pins just holding the stag.

I was excited to get the stag on each side keeping some texture, but the handle is a bit large for figures though. I'm hoping to remedy that with my next one :)

Wow, your stuff is absolutely amazing! I especially love all of the blades!

You are definitely right about how the mold cutting technique that jewelers use is an art in of itself.

the two master jewelers I have worked with that cut molds were/are as different as night and day! the first guy made a plan and stuck to it, if something went a little wrong he just scrapped it and start over!

the guy I work with now does everything on the fly and if something goes wrong he just keeps going- as in repairs the end piece instead of casting until he gets the perfect one :) if not for him my destro heads would never have been made!
