OK so a couple months ago I re-imagined the Swordfish. But then I had a problem. The only actual Action Force figure I have is Stalker. So while I do not like making figures I decided that I would have to make some blue and yellow to crew the ship.

Picturing was not nice to them today it was windy and we had some damage from heavy wind that I will have to fix later.

So the group



For starters I got the orange frogman this is as LBC as you can get. It required no change in parts and the only paint was the blue mark on his chest.

I felt the diving bell was very out dated and wanted to modernize the design of this one.

I really like the use of CORPS! heads. The Wet Suit repaints are my favorite, though.

Thanks guys, by the time I got these done I was absolutely sick of blue and yellow, blue and yellow, blue and yellow. LOL

Corps had a few really good heads, most of their heads were lacking but I really like the Corps head I used for the Deep Sea Defenders. I also like the head I used on the Sonar officer. unfortunately they had way more heads that were just absolute trash.

dremel those are perfect! the damaged hat could easily be smoothed with a dremel to then be unique, or a little sculpy and it would be right back.

the medic is very vintage looking and compliments all the primary colored divers very well. the orange frogman is a nice stand alone, and the girl is very nice.

Hey Dark are you familiar with the Action Force line of figures?
I am only asking because of the way you vaguely referred to all of them.

probably should have shared a picture of the original Q-force for anyone that is not familiar with them.

Left to my own devices yellow with blue and red accents is not the color pattern that I would have picked.

Me neither but in my defense I joined JC when I started collecting again back before it was Joecustoms. It was still the Bivouac ran by Camper way back then. LOL I am not sure if I learned of Action Force on here or if it was while I was exploring YoJoe way back then but it was all about the same time.

These look great. The Corps! definitely had some clunker head sculpts, but I think they had a lot of really good ones, too. You picked some of my favorites here, so I have to say good choice. I love seeing "*-Force" customs, because they're great for filling out ranks for Joe on the international scale and there were some spectacular characters in the various Force teams.


I know they're a pain to paint, but I love those colors together. I think that's why Q-Force is one of my favorites of the Action Force line.

These are great. I love that Aqua Trooper. I like how you made them fit seamlessly with ARAH.

The Deep Sea Defenders are my favorite of the bunch as well. If I happen to trip across more of those Corps Heads then I may build a few more of those.
