Again with the gaudy yellow. Personally I really like the 1992 EELs sculpt (though I know it's not for everyone) but the bright yellow really hurts the end product. So here are two versions which use metallic gold and silver instead, and I think greatly improve the figures.

Nice paint, personally I always wanted these in the same gray and black color scheme of the original eels.

I recall picking these specific Eels up in a store when they first came out. Like you i've always liked the sculpt but didn't really care for the color choice. Nice repaints. I personally favor the purple but the blue and gold makes the figure look like a character straight out of Namors Atlantis (?).

Those look sharp. I always liked this version of the EEL and sad we never got an update of it. These color schemes would have been wondrous.

I liked the sculpt but hated the colors, your repaints look amazing and really bring out a lot of the details.

I like them both, but the blue one is my favorite. It just screams "COBRA". I agree with what someone else said about how it would be cool if they were in the grey black and red color scheme. But these look awesome.

Yeah I've seen a few people do repaints in those colours, and they look amazing. I plan on trying one myself someday.

Both look fantastic. That'd be a repainted version I'd love to buy.

The fact your customs are still fully poseable is awesome!

OH...MY.....
Not only is it one of my favorite late era figures.
I love, love, love the Blue and Gold version you created here.
That paint job makes the figure pop so much more than the bright yellow.
Great job. If I can get my hand on more I will definitely try to replicate it for myself.

I'd like to see one in Iron Grenadiers colors and one painted like a v1 Eel.

nice work! I painted the yellow parts grey on a blue one so it would match undertow v2. This mold is good, although I've never really cared for the headsculpt.
