Mouse is loosely inspired by the GI Joe: Retaliation character of the same name, and not the Mouse who appeared in the Sgt. Savage cartoon. I experimented with this figure a little but – on both the vest and the boots I used a thin wash of colour over a base coat, rather than the solid colours I nornmally work with. It turned out pretty well, though I don't know how much more of that I'll be doing in the future, since I prefer my figures to fit in with the original ARAH line as much as possible, where solid colours are the norm.

Head – Sci-Fi v2
Arms, waist, legs – Recoil
Torso - Grid-Iron

Rifle – Marauder Inc.
Backpack - Flint

I had used a head from Deep Six v2 for a custom, so I was left with the headless body of that figure. I realized that by gluing the helmet onto the neck and using a liberal application of red and black paint I could arrive at a creditable custom of Muton, the Red Shadows robot from the 1980s Action Force line. I haven't checked, but I'd bet I'm not the first person to use this figure as a base for Muton, since the original was so clearly based on a deep-sea diver.

Head – Deep Six v2 helmet
Arms, torso, waist, legs – Deep Six v2

Mouse is great. I feel he needs a helmet or some kind of headgear. Muton is genius. Another strong round. Great work.

Thanks, I don't disagree about the helmet. Unfortunately he uses an awful lot of gel in his hair, and I literally couldn't find one in my fodder that fit him.

another awesome group! i'm not familiar with muton, but your figure is an instant favorite! the figure that really catches my eye here is mangler. it is a dead ringer for a young version of a friend of mine who was airborn in both Vietnam and desert shield. I've got to keep an eye out for those parts :)
