Mariner comes from the Devil's Due run of comics, introduced as one of five new Joes along with Barrel Roll, Depth Charge, Hacker and Mayday. The first three saw figures released in the New Sculpt era (I've previously posted an ARAH version of Depth Charge), but Mariner and Mayday never did. So this is Mariner. The leg selection was obvious – the teal camo of Bazooka v3's pants actually makes some sense for an amphibious trooper. The hat and goggles are from Marauder Inc., I love their ball caps because they're so flexible.

Head – Sky Patrol Airborne
Arms – Snake-Eyes v4 modified
Torso – Wet-Suit
Waist, upper legs – Bazooka v3
Lower legs – Thrasher modified

Rifle, cap, goggles – Marauder Inc.

Mustang is an original character, which was built on a custom-cast head of Billy from Predator. It's great to have parts that can be used for ARAH-style figures, but I don't have any interest in making actual Predator figures, so I use them to create GI Joe characters instead. I took the name Mustang from a military slang term for an officer who was previously enlisted, and then pieced some parts together that seemed to fit. I used Zartan's legs, removing the thigh pads and filing the holes with putty. I liked the heavy feel of the boots.

Head – custom cast (Billy from Predator)
Arms – Footloose
Torso – Repeater
Waist – Snow Job
Legs – Zartan

Rifle – fodder
Backpack - Dart

Onslaught is an original character, built around the head. It's a custom cast of Cobra Commander's son Billy, and I picked up several of them to use. This particular head has a small casting flaw, a small groove running down the left cheek onto the neck. Instead of trying to cover that up, I turned it into a visible scar. I left the face unpainted intentionally, this character has a very pale complexion to make him a little extra creepy. Most of the other parts are cast from a Livevil sculpt (Cobra beret trooper), except the arms and upper legs.

Head – custom cast (Billy)
Arms – Frostbite v3
Torso, waist, lower legs – custom cast
Upper legs – Chief Torpedo

Submachine gun – Lanard Corps

Roughneck is an original character, he's a Seabee (Naval Construction Battalion). His background is that he was a steelworker, and then oil rig worker, before joining the Navy. The head is from Galoob's Unifighter's line, which is a fairly large head so I needed some beefy parts to make a good figure with it. The torso is from Angel Forge, and Steam-Roller's legs are about as big as you can get in an ARAH figure. I drilled a hole in the backpack so that his sledgehammer can be carried in it.

Head – Galoob Unifighter
Arms – Rock 'n Roll v2
Torso, waist – Angel Forge custom cast
Legs – Steam-Roller

Hat, goggles, sledgehammer – Marauder Inc.
Backpack – Low-Light (modified)
Rifle – Baroness v9

This Wolverine I got quite cheap since it needed some work. The missile launchers were askew, and it took some work to straighten them out. A thorough cleaning and new stickers, as well as painting a few details followed, to give the vehicle some more characters. I also drilled out the end of each missile to increase the realism. The tow cable is a custom one I found online made from actual steel cable, which I distressed to give the appearance of age and use.

A custom version of Cover Girl completes the ensemble.

Before the Eels, there were the Sea Serpents, which is my name of the Cobra combat divers featured in the cartoon episode The Worms of Death, who accompanied the Baroness to the bottom of the sea to try and get the “heavy water” before the Joes were able to. There was a 25th Anniversary figure of a Cobra combat diver that was also based on this episode, but I have not based this figure on that one, instead taking the cartoon appearance and adding some colour highlights to make it pop.

Head - Eel
Torso, arms, waist, legs – Wet-Suit

Backpack, harpoon gun – Eel
Fins - Wet-Suit

That's not a Street Fighter head, it's a sculpt by Krexx Radek. The body and waist is Cover Girl, arms are Wild Bill and legs are comic pack Cover Girl.

A lot of top-notch stuff in this thread. I really like the Sea Serpent and Roughneck, but all your newest additions are great.

Thanks, Roughneck is one of my favourites too, the parts really came together cohesively.

Hah, thanks yes I get it now. I probably could have figured out what you meant if I had put a little effort into it.

Another fantastic batch of customs.

Devil Dog - great name, and great parts combo. The camo really helps set him apart. Nice job removing that beard, it really does change the look of that head quite a bit.

Jinx - Love it. The chun li head works well, as do the rest of the parts. I like how you kept her original arms so she would still have some red. I've been wanting to put together a custom jinx with a more military design like this but it's always been on the back burner.

Mariner - Nice job choosing parts that really do match up pretty well with the comic art. Not a fan of the design, but that custom is spot on.

Mustang - Great name, great use of parts.

Onslaught - Awesome parts combo, the colors works really well together too. Very nice, he'll fit right in with cobra.

Roughneck - Another great name, dig the backstory and another great parts combo. Those Marauder hats are so useful.

Sea serpent - Love this one, the eel head on wetsuit's body is really effective, and the colors are perfect. This is something hasbro or the club could have done back when they still cared about o-ring stuff. Would have been a sweet armybuilder pack.

Can't believe people are STILL able to make original, awesome looking figures with the ARAH parts. It really is a testament to the versatility of the original line, and the talents of the artists still working in that style. These are all excellent.
