I like it and I agree it needs to be longer. You going to change the front window or leave it?

That visor piece on the real rig is a fiberglass/plastic add on attachment. So what I am trying to say is you do not need to make a new roof just to build a visor and attach it.

That little Mule type vehicle you have going is interesting too.

i'm glad you pushed me on the length, and am much happier with it. next step is permanently attaching cab to frame. then graft a 5th wheel and detail that area. I ordered a set of 1:25 pipes I hope can be modded to work.

I need something to widen the sleeper, and decide whether to use the side steps I had or go more correct.

did I mention I hate building vehicles! I just want really expensive(or even non existent) types.

Vehicles are the most fun to do though.

The fuel tanks you have would work in a pinch but it would be much better to go to the hardware store and get them to cut you off a 1 foot length of PVC pipe (probably less then $1) and use it to make your tanks.

The tanks on both Goliath and The Beast were both made using PVC plumbing pipes.

Mirrors are a pain in the neck in my opinion due to the fact that they stick out and need to be fairly tough but at the same time they have to be pretty thin to look right.

I would of never guessed those were pvc ! I live between my wifes father and her aunt. her late husband and my fil have tons of everything in too many shops, barns, and lean-to's to count. I hardly ever have to buy pvc, not even when we moved here and set up two trailers!

I think i'm going to use the metallic step/tanks just because they are shiny chrome. I cut down a digital caliper cast to make new outer walls on my sleeper. I can add a filler block and go as wide as I want. I found a piece for my 5th wheel detail. one of those model "tubs" I wanted to distribute for superjoe kart. just flipped upside down :)

I had found a few maybe visors and think a new brite kibble from an rc dunebuggy looks the best, real mean and it blocks the 4 square windshield! pics to come.

Coming along nicely. I wish you could put duals on the back but I do not see any easy way to accomplish that so have to make due with the singles.
