I appreciate it Serpentor ll !

i'm seriously considering blacking out the chrom steps and making the pvc tanks Dremel suggested, I could use the aluminum tape to cover them .i'm just not sure the extra work would be worth it.

I've gotten behind with progress pics.

here is the finished fenders smoothed and shaped with metal tape over plastic. also added structural plastic around headlights.

mirrors
permanently attach goblin & sculpt into hood

There is something about those fenders that's not quite right I'm just not sure what it is yet. I do like the car lights and grill.

I think you need a little shape over the wheels on the sides so they aren't so thin looking. I think it will help your though killer truck look too.

I can see that. More of a flattening out of the hump to thicken it out.

and big thanks to both bloodbrigade for catching it, and pluv for helping me see it ! I do think a lip of material is in order. probably plastic with metal tape overlay then paint.

I think* I found the perfect wheel well pieces :) just taped on for now. I cut these from a "spare" tire on a newbrite dunebuggy.

the "gas tanks" are a pill bottle split and covered in metal tape.

with another rig for size comparison
