The Viper may be my favorite custom you've ever done. And that is saying a lot.

Short of sculpting a new head form scratch, I'm not sure what you'd do for a better Dr. Lazarus likeness.

I never tried something like this before, I set up a hard light source then painted in the highlights and shadows then filled in with muted base colors in between, first attempt on some simple fodder

for future reference a better attempt would be to take a figure and try to recreate either a cover or their card art

That's a great idea. I love the look and would like to do a GP like this someday.

Man, I always see you've updated this thread while I'm on my phone and want to wait until I'm on the PC, then I forget/think I already got caught up on it. I was way behind this time -- a bunch of great stuff. That Metalhead is fantastic and I could see using that head for a Joe-version Beast Wars Rattrap. The Rick Grimes, I agree with the comments about the eyebrows being a bit extreme, but it'd be a perfect Wynn Duffy from Justified (not knocking the custom at all, the head choice was inspired and the eyebrows look good, but when I see it, I see this guy, one of my favorite bad guys from recent TV: Image

River Song is great, but I think the Galaxy Quest custom is my absolute favorite of the lot. I knew who it was as soon as I saw it and before I even read the description, you did so well on him.
