This is the first vehicle I ever customized. It's old really old just like me now. I used to reuse decals as you can see they've gone a little yellow
And the headlight stickers dried up and fell off.
The question is should I restore it? Originally it had a roof and doors as well as the ram bar and gas cans. I could also fix the paint and decals.

Yeah preserve it. Adding the armor and gas cans back would be fine, but don't change the paint or decals.

agree 100% with Dusty! Preserve it, but don't re"vamp" it. ;)
it looks great as is, and shows that you had a great gift, for this stuff, right out of the gate! my first customs were done before the internet was big... and with enamel paints. Nuff said! LOL They are long since dead and buried at the landfill!

I'd restore it. The original will always be in pictures, but it's a fun thing to fix up something and see how far you've come.

The paint and stickers look fine. I say make a new roof, doors and accessories and add them to bring it back to the way you originally made it.
I think we all made an Arctic Stinger at some point. My first vehicle custom was a desert Stinger which has fell apart since then.

My arctic Stinger was not my first vehicle custom but was in the first 5. I do not remember exactly what number it was since it was roughly 18 years ago, but I do still have it in original 1999 condition.

Thanks Bud, I'd thought of using the Snow Cat missile rack on several Vamps over the years.

This is my normal thought process too. But I've got an idea.

So what I've decided to do is leave this one, I will find a roof and doors for it. But what I'm going to do is a then and Now. So basically build an all new version of this same vehicle with a few more mods.

You should make the new one a halftrack so it is better equipped for the arctic
