Hello everybody, I’m back! For my return to customizing I created a modern custom Lt. Falcon. I wanted to give him a modern soldier look, so I painted him in Scorpion multicam and gave him a plate carrier vest. I wanted to keep some of his original styling that would identify him as Falcon, including the neckerchief, beret, pockets on his lower legs, and the knife on his right chest strap.

Comparison of the 25th Anniversary version, my custom, and the Slaughter’s Marauders Falcon:

A byproduct of the customizing process was this custom 25th Anniversary version, featuring a head and neckerchief from the Angelforge that I decided not to use on my final version:

Really sharp. I don't want to see all modern/updated Joes uber realistic, but Falcon is one the needs to be based in his original design. It's a perfect modern version of the character.

The camo is tight. I think you kept what works and updated what needed it. Since he's an modernization, I'd suggest switching out his old radio for Lowlight's.

Good to see you back man!

Nice work as always. That camo is ridiculous. Having seen the 25th anny version you did side-by-side, I wonder how they would look with a head swap? Keep the neckerchiefs as they are, and just flip the heads. Something about the AngelForge head has a bit of realism that my eyes tell me matches your paint job. And vice versa.

I will try to get some pictures of that in the next few days.

Another great update of a figure that hasn't quite been done right in the modern style.

I prefer the head swap as well! It seems to "match the grittier look, a little better than the head that has less "character" to it.
