  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

One of the customs I regret selling was the ultimate Duke that I made for GI Joe All Stars. I wanted to make myself another, but I wanted to down scale the legs a little to bring his proportions more in line. In addition, Agent Mouse lower arms are hard to come across, so I ordered these lower arms/hands from Marauder "Gun-Runners". Turns out that I prefer these arms anyway as they fit his proportions better.

great paint! and awesome comic scenes!

the marauder hands look a bit big for that head, but they work so well with your build i'm not sure I would change them.

I think it looks that way due to camera angle. They are actually smaller than the Joe Colton hands, which is what I used on my first ultimate Duke. However the larger Agent Mouse forearms made the first ultimate Duke's hands look smaller.

Had the pleasure of seeing your previous Ultimate Duke in-person a couple of times (thanks, Bucky!) and have been meaning to copy it for a while.

Now I'm glad I waited - you somehow manage to top perfection :-)

Fantastic follow up to your original Duke. I have been planning on upgrading to MJ arms for a while, mostly waiting on them to put out more colors.

Seriously great custom, it's kinda crazy we haven't gotten something like this (with mouse arms) from hasbro or the club.

Duke never does much for me but that looks spectacular. and great paint work. that is a Duke i would buy.
and your comic cracked me up.

Your ability to use just the right amount of wash/dry brushing is what makes your customs so riveting. Great work.
