Sooo for whatever reason, I've been on a huge Action Force/Red Shadows kick lately. I've been throwing together some various LBC customs, mostly o-ring, over the past few months. I have some modern era ones planned, mostly with Marauder Task Force parts, but I'll get started with a vehicle I've been working on: Red Jackal's personal Hyena and the Laser Exterminator Mk. II.




The vehicle itself is an Operation Crimson Sabotage set with Cobra Stickers, of course. The canopy and turret are from the 50th Anniversary HISS. The HISS just has the Hyena labels, while the Laser Exterminator has those from the Shadowtrak. Red Jackal himself is the Imperial Procession Cobra Commander with the 1992 Destro's head. Just wanted him to feel a bit more distinct from Destro.

That's an easy and clever use of that imperial commander.

Here's the Z-Force Attack Chopper, lovingly ripped off from one of Matthew's old customs in the gallery. Just the Street Fighter chopper with Z-Force Battle Tank stickers and the missiles from the Tiger Fly.

The pilot is Sonic Boom, the movie Paratrooper Guile. The colors are just perfect.

Here's my version of the Action Force commander Skip, who in my universe commands the entire Action Force team, not just Z-Force. He's a Rock Trooper Guile with the 1991 Dusty's head.

Oh, dur. I thought he thought Bison was an Imperial Officer from Star Wars. Oops.

No worries. I actually like that idea of putting the Destro head on that body. I have a few extras, might have to do it myself.

Mostly Marauder parts of course, with a jacket from Vortious Custom Accessories. It's tough to see but she does have the X-shaped scar on her forehead, just like her IDW counterpart, who was the obvious inspiration.
