Doctor Robert Strange & MarkM for the custom Dianaut passion. There are not many people customizing Dianaut figures on the internet so every time i see one of your efforts i'm appreciative (and i look forward to the next submission).
Do you remember Future Force (aka Mega Star) released under the Stompers brand in the 80's?
The little drivers are awesome. The vehicles were awesome ..for their time. The pairing of a driver & mini motorized vehicle still appeals to me. Currently there isn't anything on toy shelves that is similar to Stompers Future Force to my knowledge so....here we are. I couldn't shake the thought from my mind. It made me grin every time the thought of a little Dianaut driving a scout vehicle surfaced. Or a Dianaut racing another unit over uneven terrain.
I had some scrap plastic sheet, some plastic pizza box support rods , an RC tank, some ABS glue and hope that the mystery plastic the tank was made from was ABS. It was. The project is still early & it's in a rough state but the journey begins here. I'm already having fun.

The original male / female hinge joint components on the back end of the windshield had to be destroyed and rebuilt. Taking apart glued parts and then re gluing them butchered the aesthetics of the vehicle but...i still have hope i can fix that aspect of the project. I'm rolling on...
