a couple of those skins... I tore them down and used paper clips and twist tie guts to put them back together. the cymbals are brass name plates cut out then turned on my dremel (not perfect) this was harder at home than I thought it would be. the last detail was the drum logo. it is a starwars sticker with a large CS cut from another sticker then the whole thing just taped on(for easy removal). this is my 3rd drum set and I want to be able to reuse it for future shows...I mean customs...

the whole project is incredible - the figures are outstanding as customs - i only commented on the drums because i was trying to say something before i had to start my work day and wanted to call this out --

after KISS and Cold Slither, who's next?

thanks dusty79!

i'm not sure who's next. I've seen some great freddi mercury customs and wanted to make my own. I have a box of parts for Black Sabbath that I hope to make at some point. I need to either find a young ozzy head, or get a couple shrank/cast. i plan an 80's ozzy w/randy Rhodes at some point too. I need to detail paint my goblin rig, and I always envisioned angus in the final pics.....alice cooper.....rob zombie......

Those figures are great but HOLY COW that drum kit!

Tell me you didn't make the keytar and guitars from scratch, too!?!

thanks Spin Doctor!

I used the same ornaments for the drums as I did on my kiss set. just untied the ribbons and restrung them with wire. the base drum is a cut down slime barrel. zartans guitar is a "v" piece I found in my fodder grafted onto a Barbie guitar neck, the yellow guitar is a keychain that I ground down some, keytar was a keyboard I just sculpted the neck? pieces on.
