As of tonight, I'm just going to wait for these to show up in the store next year.

I love the figures. They look awesome. However, as others have pointed out, I already have money out on other Kickstarters that I'd like to get in hand - never been a fan of pre-orders. But, I really wish they had went with the figures they are showing as the really far reach goals as the starting figures. I get the need to go with what will be most popular, but my collection needs British Desert Rats and Russian soldiers in more authentic uniforms than the IJ figures I'm currently using instead of more Germans, Americans, and Japanese (I already have way to many of those from BBi and 21st).

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed that the British soldiers are so deep into the stretch goals. I don't get why they think the monochrome figs are a good idea? They look like little army men from the 80s? I guess. I'd rather have those British troops.

Going to watch it for a bit and see how it goes. Will probably get at least 12, though.

They're a good idea because they're cheap to make.

I think that's the point, plus getting more mileage out of molds and adding an offering similar to BFS Blanks.

I interviewed Marauder John for GeneralsJoes, and he gives a lot of information that may answer any questions about the WWII line:

This was my thinking as well. Plus we know once they hit his store he'll offer the parts in multiple color options. This will give him a head start in that direction.

That was good read.

I know people specifically interested in this Kickstarter because of the green army guys.

And excellent interview, Almon!

I want the tan jacket American Thompson machine gunner and a German officer. And I think I’ll be able to get them

Just pledged at the pick-24 level. Right now, I'm probably going to skip the Japanese soldiers and focus on the American and German troops. I won't troop build anything unless the red German buck is unlocked. I'm also good for at least one all-green blank. I loved green army men as a kid and having a fully articulated one on my shelves will be fun.

Close to my sentiments. One green army guy, and one all grey German lets me represent the old Navarone playset at least.

And that's a good idea on focusing on one theater of operation. The Japanese soldiers look cool, but most anything I make in terms of stories or scenes are way more likely to be in the European theater. Maybe one soldier nevertheless, so as to recreate a 6 million dollar man (or derivative Archer) episode. lol.

I upped to a 6 pack. The more I look at these the more I want. This is my wish list. I guess I watched Band of Brothers 1 too many times.

It's impossible to watch Band of Brothers too many times. Just sayin' ;-)

I too have the Pick6 option and was wondering how to assort them. I had planned on just the initial set funding, which was foolish of me; but it would have made choosing much easier. I'm thinking your set gives an 3v3 'instant battlefield'; which is good. I may swap out the flamethrower for the bazooka, though. The big problem is in wanting to finish up the 'Howling Easy Company Commandoes' but realizing that for ever extra one I get I'll need another Jerry to fight him.
