the other direction I set out in for Halloween this year was the killer from "my bloody valentine". I just saw the 2009 movie earlier this year and started making a plan. the research for the figure became a rabbit hole that led me to the 1981 original movie (I just watched it about 2wks ago). the killer from each is very similar, but there are some subtle differences. so back and forth with build ideas, I made the decision it would be easier to make a figure of each killer. I figured 81 should be a o-ring figure and 09 more modern. 09 is also much taller. I started with some plastic pick axes, but that wasn't cutting it for me so I made several metal versions.

still wips, but all I need to do now is paint.

both have magnets in their backs to hold metal pick axes. the 09 version doc ock base had 4 holes so I had to fill 2 w/uv glue. the 81 got a single magnet in the screw hole :)

I totally remember the original movie. Great likeness.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised they remade it. But I kind'a wish they hadn't.

thanks spin!
to me the remake somehow made more since, even though most of the backstory was in the opening credits.

Damn good job on these! Great concept man. That pin head is sinister. But seeing them all together is the money!
