Had this laying around & been wanting to upgrade it. Making this for a buddy who unfortunately cannot collect at the moment. So in typical Short Bus fashion I will Be going all out, starting with removal of the god awful stock wheels. ImageImageImageImage

Not yet, that will be next. Thinking of using TD seats in the rear & placing suitable seats for a front cockpit. Definitely gotta cut out those doors & implement that stupid front gimmick into a hood with a mock engine. Probably use that space as well to hid my wires & batteries.

What are "stock wheels"? Stupid question, but I don't know if that means the extra spare wheels on the side or the wheels that came with the vehicle.

Stock would refer to how a vehicle is delivered from the factory before any customizing happens.

Wheels are sourced from JJRC /WPL RC trucks. You can buy them dirt cheap on ebay.

I have been watching those wheels one Ebay. They are awesome rubber on plastic for only $1 each. If I was not super tight on money right now I would buy 100 of them to be stocked for future customs. These things fit on almost anything military.
