Finally finished my Jonny Quest set I started two years ago.

Here's Dr. Quest, plus Bandit. I really considered repainting a more lifelike English Bulldog to be Bandit, or even Bandit's replacement. But I just tossed in a Galoob JQ Bandit.

Pretty great. The full set feels like a toy line to an updated 80s version of the cartoon

That is a great head choice for him. I agree that the group shot is straight nostalgia.

really nice paint on him. i was thinking he was ij body until i saw your wip, no idea on parts now!

completing the set must feel good! i know i "have" to get things squared away to get it out of my system. having so many loose ends does keep my mind occupied though.

i'm glad you kept the cartoon dog, he has a human looking face. it would be within reason to think he was somehow enhanced by science for smarts :)

Thanks, everyone.

It was a fun set to make. It's just the right amount of figures, unlike my MASK or VENOM sets, which have too many figures to set up all at once.

Dr. Quest is junkparts, except for the head. The head is where I put most of the paint effort, because there's not too much to do with brown pants. The head is a starwarsgeek cast, but I'm not sure exactly of what. It looks like Terrance Stamp as General Zod, so I think it must be a downscale from a movie Zod. But I'm not sure. Unless there was a 1:18 movie line.

Anyone know?

It was also fun to salvage another NS chest/back my extending it with a spine. This time it was Alpine. Even filled the backpack hole.
