Well, Custom Celebration has come and gone. I look forward to this as much as Christmas and this year I realized I had not submitted a single figure for the site. I plan on fixing this as soon as I figure out Imigur better. The loss of photobucket really took me out of the loop.

Anyway this post is going to showcase the figures I’ve done in 2019. I may include a few that I did during the tail end of 2018.

So let’s get this party started.

Deadpool.

This is my 4th version of The Merc With A Mouth and it will not be my last as I have another 4 head casts sitting on my desk.

Image

Image

Next up the first of a trio of Cold Weather fighters. No names as of yet.

I’m trying to avoid buying figures so I’m going to using a lot more of my fodder and I had enough of these coats and the hood down coats to make a few of these.

Image

High Priestess of The Great Old One.

Another figure made to use up fodder.

Image

Next up two Iron Grenadier Generals.

Dunter and Red Cap.

Their builds are the same one I used for Voltar.

Both of these figures are armed with metal pistols thanks to 2Dark2C

Image

Image

Cheer Bear.

My daughter loves Care Bears and wanted Cheer to go with Grumpy.

Image

This was made with a figure my Secret Santa sent me along with the new MTF gear. He’s going to go with my Cutter custom.

Image

Captain Planet

Released by Gaia after the deaths of the Ringbearers at the gaping maws of the undead he has been tasked with trying to protect, not humans, but the creatures of Mother Nature. Seeing untold horrors commuted not only by the undead but at the hands of surviving humans he has lost all compassion for the species.

I’m still wrestling with whether or not to weather this figure. I’m thinking I may dust up the boots and gear but keep him pristine.

Image

Female Anubis.

Image

Ork Warrior

Image

Kim Possible.

Image

Iggy.

Survivor.

Image

It wouldn’t be like me to not make a zombie so here is Lanky.

Image

A few new Cobra Mortals.

In my verse the Cobra Mortals are an ancient religious organization of assassins. Modern Mortals take a blood oath to Cobra Commander as his rise to power and the ascension of Cobra was foreseen countless centuries earlier.

The LBCs from Custom Celebration

Godfather

Image

The Silent One

Image

Black Manta

I’m including the pic of the painted version as well as the LBC. The painted version uses Black 2.0. The painted version is still technically a WIP. The Black 2.0 paint is a PITA to work with.

Image

Image

Cold Weather Alpine

Image

I don’t remember what I named this dude.

Image

I don’t remember what I named her.

I run a very small page on Facebook where several customizers get together and swap customs every few months.

These were the two figures I made for my last swap.

WOW! too much awesome for one thred, let alone all at once!!

you can't arm your customs with metal and not show them in pics...just wrong :)

everything is really cool. I like the left and right mortals the most of everything, the middle one looks like his head is too big!

your zombies and acid rain weathering are as great as ever! really great paint work!

so you made another care bear? is it a bear painted up like this one? really cool way to share w/your daughter! I just made a custom jojo brick figure for our 6yr old granddaughter :) and after showing her my shoebox dio we started a castle dio in a box.

keep "using fodder" you are killing it!

Thanks man.

I’ll definitely take some pics of the figures with weapons drawn.

I think the issue is the angle I took the pic.

Is this better?

Image

I made Grumpy Bear, two actually. One for her and one for me.

Image

I’d love to do more when I have $ to buy more bears. They’re fun to do and daughter loves them.

the bears are pretty awesome! i'm a "grumpy" instead of grandpaw :)

might be the scarf/gear also, but he just doesn't look as sleak as the other two. that pic is better. are you going to blow my mind and tell me they are the same head?

Love everything here, but I especially like the Snoke-zombie and the Iron Grenadiers.

Before my daughter was born I bought her a Grump Bear, the only Care Bear I ever liked. When she was maybe 18 months, talking but not a lot. We decided to let her watch the DVD that came with Grumpy. She sat down entranced and after seeing Grumpy for maybe 5 minutes turned, pointed at me, and said "Daddy Grumpy.' So now I have an extra soft spot for Grumpy.

Yeah he is definitely carrying more gear. Nah different heads the other two are the same head though.

Thanks.

I thought Snoke would make a good zombie but wasn't gonna pay $15-$20 for it. I scored one for $3 and immediately set out to make this. I have so many armorted CC and IG torsos that I need to do something with them. So with new legs and heads they become Officers.

Oh yeah, I've been buying cheap Snokes off Amazon for just the arms. I was trying to make one of the IT FOLLOWS...?ghosts? out of him, but I wasn't happy with how he turned out, your paint job there is convincing me I need to take another crack at it.

That's nice work all the way around. Clever use of the Sly Moore figure.
