#46 Crystal Ball

This is a character that I've never had any use for, as it strayed too far into sci-fi/supernatural territory for me. Some of the more recent re-interpretations of the character portray him more as a huckster/medium and that's an approach I appreciate. Viewing the character as a flim-flam man ready to hustle ghost believers and astrology enthusiasts, I've taken a much more subdued approach to his uniform.

The head is a little Stan Lee, a little Vincent Price, and a little Kraven the Hunter.

No crazy shield and the costumed is muted by a trench coat. But the character's name IS Crystal Ball, so an actual crystal ball was in order. The eyes are still red, something that a showman could accomplish with contact lenses.

Very cool look. Has a smarmy used car salesman feel to him
