Made a few new custom weapons including a Mandalorian-style disintigrator rifle and a wizard's staff with a GITD jewel atop it :)

Hobbits WIP

Made from the "Star Wars" "Mission Fleet" scale Kuiil and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" Bala-tik heads.

They will eventually get some further modifications and accessories to individualize them, but I am happy with how they look so far.

They scale nicely with a standard 4" figure (represented here by a "Fortnite" figure).

Those look cool. I was just looking at my MF figure and thinking of making it something like that. Good head choice.

Thanks!

There are some smaller modern Joe heads that are proportionate, but I wasn't overly happy with their faces. These ones capture the look of a Hobbit pretty well in my opinion :)

Those Hobbits look like they're gonna be rad. Can't wait to see how you'll do their details and accessories! Saw your weapon custom update and nearly flipped!

Thanks!

I have been kind of out of the hobby over the last year due to life happening, but it is time to get back into it again.

Those look great! I might snag that mando from the ss just to play with one.

I think I only saved one, but the sandman head from the little version everywhere 5yrs or so ago would make a good hobbit.

After watching the entirety of "Star Wars: Droids" today on Disney+, I was struck by some of the cool, original designs used in the cartoon.

I used some spare Build-A-Droid parts and quickly whipped up these work-in-progress droids (still need painting) based on 2 of the more memorable astromech designs from the 2 part special "The Great Heep".

The spherical astromech with the single leg and antennae is the only one I was able to find a nice clear image of online.

Both droids have swiveling upper domes. The 2 legged droid has additional articulation at the ankles.

I will most likely not be following the colorways used in the cartoon and instead utilizing much more movie styled colors and weathering to make them fit in with the more realistic movie figures.
