Since the fall of free Photobucket, I have not been able to post my customs here easily so I created a Facebook page to have all of my customs in one place:

https://www.facebook.com/Spectreverse/

Explore all of the different albums to see everything.

I like the use of Astro Vipers helmet as a fantasy helmet, it fits very well :) .

I recommend you make a blog with Blogger. It's free, and all the pics you upload will be kept there for free (and with any luck forever, as Blogger is part of Google and seems more plausible that half the countries on earth collapse before Google does). From there, you can paste the blog address or copy the image address to paste it into the forum.

Spacers in Vacuum Suits:
Vacuum suits protect the wearers from the harshness of space. Spacers can often be seen wearing their vacuum suits while planetside or on space stations. The reasons for Spacers wearing their vacuum suits while not in the void of space can range from the wearer not being able to breath the same atmospheric mix as the place they are visiting, protection against unfamiliar airborne microorganisms, or simply due to the wearer wanting to conceal their identities...

The reflectiveness of the plastics and paint on the "Fortnite" base figures made photography difficult. At some point, I want to reseal the green/gray one's faceplate with Testors Glosscote. I was unable to do so tonight as my bottle of Glosscote was old and dried out so I need to get a new one.

they look great :) the grey one would make for a nice "the WRAITH" base figure too.

Nice. Took me a minute to place the white one. That fishbowl makes all the difference. Very slick reuse here.

I made these cargo crates out of Fanta orange soda caps. I sanded down the undersides to remove the small protrusions where the cap attached to the breakaway ring that holds them securely to the 20 oz. bottlenecks and then glued 2 of them together base to base. Eventually they will get painted but this gives you an idea of what they look like.

Projects like this are cheap ways to make custom sci-fi diorama elements from junk items you have or encounter every day.

that's pretty genius! you know this is the topic for the current gp :)

I don't drink soda, if you get extra caps i's like some in our next trade. I thought I was being crafty using water bottle lids for reptile water bowls, these blow me away!

If the crates were painted, I NEVER would have made the connection that they were soda lids.

Fantastic idea.

Human Spacers (no paint customs)

Spacers of all species traverse the dark void plying their trades, often stopping at spaceport cantinas for a little refreshment and company before heading back out into the black again.

What is the round style helmet on the white figure from? That figure looks great! I also like the use of the Star Wars pack with the regular helmet. 2DARK2C, I can totally see The Wraith in that figure!

Retro Styled Spaceport Visitors

Spaceports across the galaxy play host to billions of sentients of all shapes and sizes every day. Multitudes of travelers including humans, near human species, reptilians, aquatic beings, insectoids and those with body plans that are almost inconceivable arrive and depart constantly. You never know what you will see on any given day.

Note: This was an exeriment in using some of my wife's holographic nail polish to paint the figures' robes.

I wanted them to look like something out of old low budget sci-fi movies and television shows which often used "sparkly" material such as lame` for futuristic or alien costumes.
