#60 Scalpel

An underrated villain from 2003, here is Scalpel.

I simplified the uniform, and used very simple colors and lines.

This really reminds of the old Aeon Flux style animation, looks a lot like one of the characters, I think he was called Trevor? Very nice.

Thanks, guys!

I've been diligent about posting a new Every Joe once a weekend, usually on Fridays. I was waaaayy ahead for a while, and had just been posting from already-completed ones. Today I realized that I didn't have a new 2003 ready to post, so I pushed this one through from start to finish in about two hours. So I didn't go back and beef up the ink lines, or add shadows/lighting/texture/effects/atmosphere to anything. Just flat colors.

I remember Aeon Flux, but not well enough to recall characters.

Herb Trimpe and Tony Salmons were my favorite Joe artists from the Marvel run. I'd like to think my style has a bit of their influences in it.
