Avac's had some cast flight caps if you thinks he needs it, but he's pretty great as it.

I don’t know much about the character but I liked the look of the figure so I decided to make one.

Something different today. Instead of Throwback Thursday I’m making today Transformer Thursday.

I don’t do a lot of Transformers, mainly because the amount of prep necessary to do them well is more work then I have time for. However, I do have a handful that I’ve been working on to add to my ATR From The Ashes universe.

So today I present Soundwave.

I geeked out that you made a transforming joe compatible Bumblebee and then I looked closer. Then I geeked out at how cool the Volkswagen build is. I would love to know the recipe and see the before pics.

Sorry to disappoint guys.

The transforming BumbleBee is

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B076JGQP ... UTF8&psc=1

All I did was spray it will clear matte then weather it a bunch. I added black to the hood and a couple other areas; bumper and mechanical parts.

The “transformed” BumbleBee is A remote control car. I weathered it and added the packs and gas cans.

I know it’s cheating but it was the only way to get it the way I wanted for photos.

Thanks man!

I think of it like making swappable heads rather than trying to fit a helmet on a head.

Thanks to my buddy Dan I got a few more of these great little drones, at least they’re drones in my universe, to paint up.

Three RATs.

Image

A machine gun drone, aka Tipsy. This was just an excuse to use a gun turret off one of those 90s Joe construction sets.

And Boomer. A one time use drone that shows up and destroys everything in its way even when it means it’ll be destroyed too.

boomer is great! you need a bunch of red wires exposed somewhere on him (and in before some @boomer gets riled up!). i think tipsy looks mote like a cobra tech. piece. it actually made me think of idiocracy when the two prison machine guns take each other out.

Wires. That'll be done.

Love the Rats. I used to use the guns like you used on Tipsy on the old Corps mini copters.

Nick Fury.

I pieced the figure together for a different character and after priming popped this head on for a couple quick pics.

It’ll be painted for a different character now.
