Today’s figure, MTF Deathstroke. My favorite DC guy next to Batman, and a popular figure to make with MTF parts, I finally got around to finishing him years after starting it.

Love the weathering on this.

I've got essentially the same figure built but haven't displayed him because the colors are so bright it feels cartoony.

Yours has real grit.

Updating an older custom again. Different web gear I picked up at Assembly Required, with the intention of swapping out my cobbled together web gear, which apparently never made it into the archives. At some point I’m going to have to make a list and see who I never submitted.

While there was some options out there with marauders new belt/leg holster rig, I opted not to add the side pistol, it didn’t seem to fit with the flow I had going.

Updated my list on the first post. Very close to being done with 3-4 more. I’m actually running out of wips for the first time in years. I’m going to go through my older customs and look for more that can be touched up or fixed.

After that I might just start making some MTF figures, that I have piles of parts for.

Side project, I picked up 3 little soldier tanks in January at a fleet farm type store that clearances out the toys after Xmas. The kids and I each got one and have been working on them for a week or two.

I did the taping off, and some of the spray paint. They did the rest.

Got all the stickers apples today. The boring joe one is mine, the other two belong to them. Much more active imagination than me.

A kind of found item is included in mine, I added a couple of spacers left over from when I put in my flooring. They are the angular side pieces and had an armor type look to them.

To give you an idea of how long this one sat- it was started the year the club released their Metal Head in the con set. The head was great, we gear not to bad. But the rest of him looked so skinny and out of proportion, he looked like he had been on Blue Sky for years.

I had the body, gear and head ready for awhile. The head is a cast, and gear is raginspoon.

impressive figure! it would be funny to see him on the battle field and remotely set all the rockets off! maybe a prank from a tela or tech viper.

The thing I miss most about the old Joe cartoons is the complete disregard they had for physics.

MetalHead was a prime example and you've done him justice here.
