Ghost (w/ Shadow): Updated version

I while back I removed the paint from my original Ghost custom, seen here:


I sanded the joints, updated the paint, and made a peg for interchangeable heads. I also updated the color of the backpack to best fit with the vest/armor. He also now has a pet named Shadow (the Forca Fera animals were based on Bergen toy molds).

Megatron: Cobra Tank

I have always enjoyed the idea of GI Joe compatible Transformers. As part of my on-going, never-ending Cobra Commander project, I finally have a fully transforming Megatron tank in Joe scale. I had to cut a large chunk of the cannon off to make room for a driver, and the tops shoulders were removed as well. Control sticks were added, and the cannon back was filled in. The cannon was original held on by screws, but I changed that out for magnets which allows the cannon to be placed on either arm. The red missile launcher also has a magnet which allows it to attach to Megatron's back. The codpiece doubles as decoration and a seat for the driver since the figure needed to sit high enough in the seat.

Cobra Commander: Hall of Fame

As part of the on-going Cobra Commander project, the HoF version was one of the first designs I settled on. The unmasked head is a cast version of the v7, and the hood is from the Ultimate, v53. They both fit on a modified v18 head peg. The v18, flat back design was sanded and a strap was added. The figure actually has two left feet with the seems filled in. The stripe was removed for the right leg and sculpted on the other side.

The briefcase came from a WWE action figure. The inserts were scanned from the HoF version and printed. The knife was custom made combining a Lego sword, Storm Shadow sword (Snake Eyes v3 mold), and some styrene for the blade.



The helicopter backpack is a nod to the HoF Cobra Helicopter Attack: Deluxe Mission Gear seen here:

I used a v1 Buzzer backpack as an adapter to make the modern style backpack fit on a o-ring style figure.

Transformers: Flagg, Striker, Whale, and Battle Platform

This set of stickers from Toyhax (https://toyhax.com/for-titans-ret/2360- ... flagg.html) started it all. I bought the figure a few years ago but lacked the guts to finish it. The figure is a complete repaint of the Titans Return Broadside with a few modified parts (mainly removing the small wings). It has only been transformed once since painting and will likely stay that way. The hands were painted as an homage to the Tow Vehicle and Fuel Trailer from the USS Flagg. The airplanes are all modified from SNAFU Store's Shapeways (https://www.shapeways.com/shops/snafu). They are meant to represent the Skystriker, Night Striker, Tiger Rat, Thunderbolt, Ghoststriker, and Storm Eagle. The gatling guns are from BTR, and the orange missiles are modified clip-on guns/missiles from the Kre-o Seaspray figure. The small missile launcher (which can be stored in the tower) and small white guns are from the Micro Machines Aircraft carrier.

Striker is simply a repurposed/restickered Dark of the Moon Hatchet (https://www.tfu.info/2011/Decepticon/Ha ... atchet.htm) figure. The stickers came from the Flagg set from Toyhax.

Whale is a repainted Armada Waterlog (http://www.tfu.info/2003/Mini-Con/Waterlog/waterlog.htm) with the missile and holder removed.

The Battle Platform is an Earthrise Ironworks (https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Ironworks_(facility)#Generations) simply reconfigured as a TTBP. I used two Kre-o 1x1 maroon plates and two pegs to balance him it base mode. These can be seen on his lower legs in robot mode.

can you post a link to the animals that were close to the force fera ones? are they cheaper to track down? i have a tiger i thought might be FF, but i saw it was from johny quest.

love the head swap for ghost, and the overall update. That's the kind of detail that really speaks to me. Everything here is great, but that resonates for how I like to customize.

The big difference is the the Forca Fera animals have "flat" inside legs and hollow "stomachs." Otherwise, as you can see in the second link, the figures are the same. I got mine on eBay for under $10. Here is an example of the tiger (in red):
