So I took a little break from Marvel movie customs last week and tried my hand at some more comic-inspired likenesses.

The first was a guy I'd love to see them take another stab at in a live action capacity (his portrayal in the Ghost Rider movie left a bit to be desired):

Mephisto is mostly an MU Daredevil with a patchwork cape, MU Elektra skirt and fully sculpted head.

Here's a shot of him wheeling and dealing in the underworld:

And another of him using his size/shape changing powers when negotiations fail:

That second figure is based on the character's appearance in the Contest of Champions phone game. It's almost entirely a Hobbit figure with a heavily modded MU Mister Sinister head and cape.

Thoughts?

Here are some close ups of that comic Mephisto head:

Deep under gobs of green stuff is the undersized Skrull head I used as a base (his eyes and ears are pretty intact and his knobby chin became the teeth). The hair is all hand-pulled green stuff tacked to the scalp and shaped with toothpicks.

I used essentially the same hair pulling technique for the modified Sinister head on the bigger version (modeled here by that Magik), but I wanted a slightly more Japanese video game look for it so I gave it more of a blow-out effect:

That head and body are perfect for Mephisto. Absolute perfection
