I dont do Dios very well and I don't have room but after getting this packing material I knew I finally had the base for my version of a Stargate. I've got to hit the insides with some more foam and get some trimming done to the outside. Overall I'm pleased with this phase 1. I will need to fashion steps and a ramp as well as a mounting platform. Image

Nice! I love getting the odd packing material and trying to figure out if it can be something. I like the scale of the inside of the ring. Can't wait to see what you do with it

Picked up this All Geared Up figure from Marauder but decided to give it some tweaks after getting it home. I started with detailing the goggles and moving some pouches around.

The large hip mounted rail gun? that was included just didn't do it for me and I had this yellow Fortnite gun laying on my desk.
Image
The included Marauder backpack wouldn't stay put and I've had this yellow eyesore of a knock off Alley Viper pack in my parts bin. A little detailing and I was happy with it.
Image
And I also swapped the masked head for a BBI head. No paint needed, just drilled for the neck ball.

The shoulder armor and accessories are my doing. Credit for the initial design goes to Marauder.

That looks fantastic. Maybe he could be some high level Alley Viper or maybe an Alley Viper deserter. Really nice job

I like that idea since Cobra Commander eliminated specialized Viper units in Cobra. Maybe he figured he was an Alley Viper or nothing. So long Cobra, hello independent contractor.

Thanks for the compliment!

there are a bunch of characters that could fit with that theme. i think deadshot? from suicide squad kind of had that look.

Finally got the parts to continue my Slaughter's Marauders update for Outback. I started with the 25th Bazooka to get that big bulky build. Swapped the hands with Crossbones and shortened the arms just a bit. Legs came from movie Heavy Duty with Crossbones feet just to change things up. Boot knife is Marauder with a green stuff strap and turned the v neck jersey into a tshirt as well. The head is Ragin Spoon. The backpack is from GI Joe with Marauder rigging for straps.

Image

For paint, I didn't steer too much from the original look. The Survival tshirt is too iconic not to include and I updated the camo pants to match my Marauders team.

Image

I really dig the geared up look for Outback and this is how he'll be displayed. I gave him the tan backpack and added a knife and his trademark flashlight to the straps.

Image
Image

For me, Outback is part of Slaughter's Marauders and acts as the team's scout and advance recon. He can be dropped behind enemy lines and survive for weeks on his own, reading the enemy movements. When the others arrive, they have the most up to date Intel possible.

Image

This is my 3rd attempt at the character and while I was happy with the 2nd version, he was undersized when I updated those around him.

Thanks!

And no beard for Sarge. Ain't no way that jawline is getting covered. The Sarge is up bright and early shaving with his combat knife.
